An ethical approach to business means adopting attitudes and actions that take into account the needs of individuals, the public, the local community and the environment. The surge in ethical consumption awareness among consumers in recent years has been spurring changes in purchasing behavior. YAGIthical, or Yagi Ethics, refers to Group-wide operations and the goals the company strives to achieve through its ethical approach to business. Undertaking ongoing efforts for the future is the central concept underlying Yagi Ethics. Seeking to ensure sustainability, Yagi engages in a wide range of corporate activities designed to consider the needs of individuals, the public and the environment. These activities are linked to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and designed to help achieve these goals.

The PEACE BY PEACE COTTON PROJECT is a project being carried out by the PBP Cotton Foundation to fund sales of products made from Indian organic cotton. The funding is used to help Indian cotton growers transition to organic growing methods, and help the children of growers with education and scholarships. Rooted in an awareness that cotton products enjoyed by consumers take a toll on people and the land, we joined the project hoping to help change this negative cycle into a positive one. New products are made from harvested cotton to create a cycle that provides new opportunities for consumers to enjoy them. In this way, the project aims to satisfy everyone while keeping the land abundantly productive into the future. One of our strengths is its integrated production system that handles everything from raw materials to finished products. Yagi is leveraging this production system and related know-how through this project to help popularize Indian organic cotton products. The ultimate aim is to raise environmental awareness and help make the world a better place.
