Driving the advancement of group management by enhancing human and organizational capabilities with a medium- to long-term perspective
I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and patronage.
Under our 2026 Medium-Term Management Plan, "Heritage to the Future," the Corporate Division is focused on advancing and streamlining group management, aligning talent strategies with business strategies, and pursuing ESG initiatives to achieve sustainability. In group management, we have redefined our segment structure into four key segments: Materials, Lifestyle, Apparel, and Brand & Retail. Through strengthened collaboration within these segments, we are working to enhance profitability and drive sustainable growth. Additionally, to further strengthen group collaboration, we are developing a DX (Digital Transformation) platform across the group. In terms of talent strategy, we have introduced various measures to energize our workforce, including revamping our HR systems, creating frameworks that enable diverse talent to thrive, and promoting health management (recognized as a "2024 Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization"). With a medium- to long-term perspective, we aim to strengthen our human capital, enhance the skills of each employee, and bolster organizational capabilities. For our ESG strategy, we are committed to practicing CSV management and reinforcing corporate governance. By identifying and addressing materiality (key issues), we are accelerating our business strategies to achieve sustainable growth for both society and our group. For details about these initiatives, please visit the Sustainability section on our corporate website. Moving forward, we will continue to value our connections with stakeholders, build trust and empathy, bring joy to people's lives, and contribute to the realization of a prosperous society.

Aiming to grow businesses that will lead the next generation of the YAGI Group by providing excellent products and services
Aiming to grow businesses that will lead the next generation of the Yagi Group by providing excellent products and services
Throughout our long history, the Brand & Retail Division has been working on new businesses. In the brand business, we offer products that emphasize craftsmanship down to the smallest detail, such as "Tatras" and "Attachment," which are brands developed by a textile trading company.
Tatras produces its main product, down jackets, in Poland, using high-quality down to create urban and sophisticated products that have received positive evaluations.
Attachment focuses on materials and silhouettes, selecting fabrics from domestic Japanese textile manufacturers, and creating products that can be worn both formally and casually.
Both brands are sold in Europe and Asia, and we will continue to focus on expanding sales internationally. In the retail business, we have established a joint venture with Winwin Sports, a Korean sports apparel company, and are selling world-renowned Nike products in Japan. Through providing Nike’s excellent products and services, our goal is to improve customers' health, happiness, and quality of life.
Although these are new businesses, we are striving every day to grow them into businesses that will lead the next generation of the YAGI Group.

Realizing the creation of products demanded by the times through innovative planning and development capabilities, and a reliable production system
While the apparel business is relatively new within our company's overall operations, it is currently one of our core businesses. From an early stage, we introduced a proposal-based ODM approach and have been working on expanding original brands and licensing brand businesses. We are committed to creating products that capture the spirit of the times through innovative planning and development capabilities, and a reliable production system, offering a range of items such as men's, women's, and children's wear that can be worn daily, as well as high-performance sports and outdoor wear. In addition, to support production and supply, we have built a global production network in collaboration with our overseas bases. For materials and textiles, we leverage our unique planning and proposal capabilities, in coordination with other segment divisions, to drive the creation of products that meet the demands of the times.

Contributing to the realization of wellness aimed at vibrant and fulfilling lives for people
In the lifestyle business, we are engaged in a wide range of operations, from everyday living materials such as bedding, home decor, towels, cosmetics, and hygiene products, to industrial materials like non-woven fabrics and functional raw materials. Textiles are used in all aspects of life, including housing, commercial facilities, vehicles, and electronics, and we have expanded our long-standing expertise in the textile industry beyond apparel to materials applications. In the lifestyle materials sector, we have been proposing products that meet customer needs, such as organic cotton and recycled materials, in response to the growing health consciousness and environmental considerations. Going forward, in line with the realization of wellness aimed at a vibrant life, we will develop comfortable and high-value-added products that contribute to enriching people's lives. In the industrial materials sector, the demand for environmentally friendly materials and securing diverse procurement sources as part of BCP measures are expanding business opportunities more than ever. As a trading company, we will optimize the global supply chain and contribute to society in our efforts toward realizing a sustainable society.

Bringing meaningful transformation to society and serving as a bridge connecting the environment and the future
Bringing meaningful transformation to society and serving as a bridge connecting the environment and the future
The materials business is our company's foundational operation, and over the more than 130 years since its founding, it has built trust alongside its history through its high level of expertise and broad knowledge.
In the raw materials business, we procure and supply materials globally, with a focus on Europe, the US, and Asia, in addition to Japan. Using Japan's advanced yarn processing technology, we sell original yarns for both apparel and materials applications, and we offer a wide range of value-added high-performance materials and environmentally conscious products.
In the textile business, in addition to Japan's high-quality, high-performance products, we supply fabrics developed at our overseas bases in China, ASEAN, and other regions to Asia centered on China and South Korea, Europe, and the US on a global scale.
As a company that seriously considers and implements sustainability, we are evolving to become an entity that is supported not only by the industry but also widely by society. With this in mind, we have unified our environmentally conscious material brand and launched the "Unito project" to develop "sustainable but not too sustainable" materials for global expansion.
We are particularly proud to be one of the largest distributors of organic cotton in Japan, handling over 1,000 tons annually. We have developed our own traceability system for organic cotton, "Cotton ID," which enables full traceability from cotton farms to the completion of yarns.
Through the materials business, we aim to expand new partnerships and business opportunities, bring valuable transformation to society, and serve as a bridge connecting the environment and the future. We will also convey the manufacturers’ intentions and the story behind the materials, guiding environmental consideration from being a special choice to a natural choice. Our goal is to connect manufacturers and users, and to ensure that people experience the true essence of craftsmanship once again.
